1. Lamp Base Type: BA15d, BAY15D
This is a very common dual-contact, bayonet-style lamp base that secures by twisting approximately 1/4 turn after insertion.
The "d" designates the different diameters of the two contacts (one thick, one thin). This design features a polarity design to prevent mis-insertion and ensure correct installation orientation. This is the main difference between this lamp and the BA15s (which has identical contacts).
